Embracing Arts, is an inclusive theatre company dedicated to creating work for thousands of children with special educational needs and/or life limiting conditions and illnesses. We believe every child should enjoy the magic of theatre and create a range of theatrical experiences to be brought to them, wherever they are.

Inclusive
Everyone is welcome! Our shows, parties and workshops are made for children with special educational needs and/or life limiting conditions, to enjoy with their family and friends. Our shows are designed for children who are often excluded from experiencing and enjoying the arts due to barriers they face through disability.
Sensory
We aim to stimulate the senses using lights, textures, props and puppetry to create engaging and captivating experiences for every child.
Musical
Our shows use music and song to go beyond language. We incorporate musical participation, harmony singing, underscore and original songs to create a full musical experience.
Interactive
We perform with our audience, not to them. Our shows, parties and workshops are designed to be engaging, participatory and fun.
Bespoke
Every performance we deliver is tailored to be just right for that audience. We happily adapt to different spaces, different interests, and different needs.
Child-led
We have a wonderful team of professional actor-facilitators, who are experienced in working with children with additional needs and use their responses to guide each session.

Christmas For Kids: Shows for children with complex needs and life-limiting illness
Specially designed interactive shows, with both an in person and digital / online offering. Bursting with music, puppetry and sensory stimuli. Inclusive for all, performed in children's hospices and SEND schools across the UK, entirely for free!
Embracing Arts Parties: Special Ability Children's Parties
Bespoke parties, specially crafted for children with special needs, complex needs, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and children with Autism. Full of sensory play, puppetry, music and interaction. Suitable for all ages and abilities and available in person and online. We bring the entertainment to you in a venue/space where your family feels most comfortable - no living room is too small!
Embracing Arts Workshops: Workshops for Special Educational Needs Schools
Our workshops help those who are visual and physical learners to explore subjects through performance and interaction. Designed for SEND schools and mainstream schools which offer SEND provision, our workshops are fully accessible for all needs and abilities. Presented with our blend of puppetry, music, multi-sensory stimulation and interaction, and covering a wide range of topics.
